“Recherche en Education et Thérapie Assistées par l’Animal” asbl –“Research in Animal Assisted Education and Animal Assisted Education”, a non-profit making organisation, are a group professionals and practitioners working in different branches of the healthcare sector, putting their experience together since June 2004 (Registre de Commerce et des Sociétés F639 No : D040002741.5).
These professionals are :

• physiotherapist
• social worker
• lecturer
• animal counsellor
• teacher
• special needs teacher
• psychiatric nurse
• psychologist
• occupational therapist

The association’s aim is the study and development of human/animal relationships, in the context of animal assisted therapy and education, without any age limit to those involved and emphasising on the « balance » of such human/animal relationships.
The association will continue to :

• publicise scientific research and results
• facilitate and promote inter-disciplinary contacts and exchanges
• serve as a central source of information for individuals and organisations
• support and encourage initiatives with the same aims

The association can support, organise and help develop campaings or activities that have a direct and/or indirect link to its own aims.
